Dr. Ho graduated with a bachelor’s degree and two Master’s degrees from the University of Toronto in Canada in the eighties majoring in accounting, actuarial science, economics, and finance. In 2003, he completed his doctoral dissertation in finance with the University of South Australia in Australia. He holds membership with professional bodies in accounting, actuarial science, and investment management such as the Certified General Accountants’ Association of Canada, the Society of Actuaries, and the Canadian Securities Institute.

Before joining the Hang Seng Management College as Senior Lecturer in Accounting, Dr. Ho taught a variety of programmes at various tertiary institutes in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He teaches currently accounting courses like advanced financial accounting and principles of accounting. His research interest lies in the areas of accounting education, financial accounting, and financial economics.

Dr. Ho’s motto in teaching is: Be joyful in every lesson!
