The Department of Accountancy, in correspondence with the vision and mission of Hang Seng Management College (HSMC), aims to be one of the best providers of undergraduate accounting education in Hong Kong. The Accounting concentration within the BBA (Hons) Programme prepares students with both theoretical and practical accounting knowledge to face the challenges in an increasingly complex business and professional environment. Our Programme is well recognized by professional accountancy bodies.
We are dedicated to the whole-person development of our graduates by virtue of quality teaching, course relevance, and commitment to meet the changing business environment. We expect our graduates to be in a good position to take up their roles as professionals and future business leaders in professional accounting and related fields.

To enhance teaching quality, we emphasize academic research and our faculty members regularly publish the results of their research in international academic journals including the Journal of Business Law, the Managerial Auditing Journal, the International Tax Journal, the Company Lawyer, the Journal of Financial Crime, the Journal of International Accounting Research, and the Journal of Applied Business Research.
