The Department of Marketing and Management offers Marketing concentration within the BBA (Hons) Programme. Our Department, corresponding with the vision and mission of Hang Seng Management College (HSMC), aims to be one of the best providers of undergraduate marketing and management education in Hong Kong. We offer various marketing and management modules to equip graduates with the expertise they need for today’s business world and the skills that will be vital in the future.
We are committed to the development of professional competence and all-round development of our students. We employ a wide range of experiential, problem-based, and case-based learning techniques. There are assignments in the form of tasks and projects on an individual and group basis that engage students in thinking, working and communicating.
Our faculty members have a multitude of teaching, business and managerial experience. We have highly qualified and experienced professors and lecturers who are dedicated to teaching and supporting the student experience. We have expertise in such areas as international marketing, consumer behaviour, pricing modelling, customer satisfaction, international business, knowledge management, organization behaviour, human resources, etc. In order to bring about excellence and innovation in business education, our department members are active in academic research and they regularly publish their research papers in academic and professional journals.
