Our Students and Recent Graduates

Our current students are studying either BBA-SCM (Supply Chain Management) or BMSIM (Management Science and Information Management) Programmes. Most of our students completed HKDSE or Higher Diploma/Associate Degree in their prior studies. The former group usually join Year 1 of our programmes and the Higher Diploma/Associate Degree holders are Year 3 students. No prior knowledge in Business or IT is necessary for our programmes. We provide our students with the foundational training required.

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management emphasises high-quality teaching and learning experience. Apart from the regular teaching and learning activities that you could have imagined, our Department also provides our students with the opportunities to obtain knowledge and skills that the job market highly values. While aiming for the highest standards of teaching quality, we seek to make our work practical and relevant to the real-life business settings. Our programmes draw on the insights derived from timely research that is also applied to practical concerns in the industries.

Over 90% of our BBA-SCM and BMSIM graduates secured a full-time job offer within six months upon graduation. Graduates’ salary from both programmes averaged over $13,000 per month, according to the recent graduate employment surveys.

Internship Opportunities

We are proud to say that our BBA-SCM and BMSIM graduates perform well in their employment. We believe that taking up an internship placement makes our graduates’ CV look really good. We are in particular thankful for some of our internship partners that tailor-made internship projects for our students.

Our students had their internship placement at Swarovski, Miss Vernie Hui (1st left-hand side – the Head of Distribution Centre) and her colleagues.
